Journal ISSN(s)

Capture the ISSN(s) for a journal in a <journal-issn> element.

The <journal-issn> element must identify the type of ISSN using a @pub-type attribute. The allowed values are:
  • epub
  • ppub

Each journal must have at least one ppub or epub ISSN or both.

One <journal-issn> element per journal must also identify itself as the primary ISSN by including a @primary attribute with a value of yes on the relevant <journal-issn> element.
